Three-initial monogram

Enter letters in left–center–right order. The sides use exact-size packs at 60% of the center scale.

Small: 120–300%, in steps of 5%. Side initials use 60%.

Thread library

Screen colors are approximate. Compare physical thread swatches for an exact match.

Use “Add to mine” to keep a spool in My threads on this browser. Your project file also saves its chosen thread names and numbers.

Catalog sources & license

Manufacturer palettes distributed by Ink/Stitch 3.3.0. These are reference charts, not a live stock list or a manufacturer endorsement. Names, numbers, and color estimates come from that release.

Export for your machine

Choose the file format your machine reads.

PES includes thread colors. Check your model’s supported PES versions.

Transfer the file to your machine, check the hoop and placement, then start sewing on the machine.

Download thread list

Custom hoop

Enter the sewing area from your hoop's instructions. The PR1050X sews up to 200 mm wide and 360 mm tall; larger sizes are capped to that.

Add knockdown under selection

A loose fill flattens towel or fleece pile before the design sews. It extends 1.5 mm beyond the selected outlines and sews first.

Download cut file (SVG)

Selected fabric outlines at actual size. Open the SVG in CutArc Vinyl or Laser to cut fabric.

An inset makes each piece smaller. Holes grow by the same amount. The design stays unchanged.

Reduce thread changes

Review the whole design. Objects can move earlier only when their sewing outlines clear every crossed object by 0.5 mm.

    Repeat selection

Repeat the selected objects. You can adjust every copy afterward.

The whole layout is centered in the hoop. Design checks will flag copies that extend beyond it.

    Pro CutArc Pro

    Pro feature

CutArc Pro unlocks this in Embroidery, Plasma, Laser and Vinyl. Designing, stitching and downloading files stay free.

    Cloud projects

Keep editable designs in your account and open them on another device. Every save keeps a version. Generate stitches and review machine placement after opening a design.

Copy browser designs to my account

Review and select the browser draft and saved snapshots to copy. Browser data may come from earlier sessions on this device. Cloud copies belong to the account shown above; originals are kept.

    Local recovery copies

Before cloud saves and opening a version, a recovery copy is kept on this device. Download copies before removing them. Up to 50 copies / 128 MB per account.

Up to 200 projects including Trash, 20 versions per project, and 16 MB per version. Trash keeps its versions and uses storage until you choose permanent deletion. Keep machine exports and original artwork separately in File → Cloud files & threads. Export → Keep project bundle preserves PES, DST, the project and thread list together.

    Cloud files & threads

Keep original artwork and machine files beyond the temporary export window. Download archived files on any signed-in device. Up to 500 files including Trash, 20 versions per file and 16 MB per version.

Export → Keep project bundle includes PES, DST, the editable project and thread list. Unzip a downloaded bundle before copying machine files to USB. Review the design, hoop and placement before sewing.

    Local recovery copies

Download a recovery copy, or merge saved spools locally. These copies are kept on this device before cloud saves or inventory changes. The 50-copy / 128 MB recovery allowance is shared with editable projects.

Trash keeps its files and versions until you choose permanent deletion. All retained versions use your shared cloud allowance.

    My designs

Keep up to 20 snapshots in this browser. Download a project for a backup or to move between computers.

    Design with AI

Prepare an embroidery-aware brief for Recraft. This preview is free and makes no AI calls.

Name the color of each part. Add lettering afterward with the Text tool to keep it editable.

Keeps hollow centers unstitched. Turn off to sew white details.

    Your first design.

    1. Create artwork. Start with a sample, import a PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3 or XXX stitch design or a plain SVG, or draw a shape. Use pre-digitized lettering for text.
    2. Arrange it. Use Select multiple to tap several objects, or Shift-click with a keyboard. Arrange & repeat helps with alignment, mirroring, and patterns.
    3. Choose stitches. Use fill for closed areas, satin for narrow borders, and running stitches for lines. Fabric presets are starting points.
    4. Check & preview. Review Design checks, generate stitches, then play the needle sequence. Show jumps to inspect travel between areas.
    5. Save & sew. Keep an editable project and a worksheet. Export PES or DST, check placement on the machine, and sew a sample.

Appliqué creates three separate stops: placement → add fabric → tack-down → trim fabric → cover border. Verify every stop on the machine.

Touch: drag a shape to move it; pinch to zoom; use two fingers or Pan to move the view. Fit resets the view. On smaller screens, Tools and Properties open beside the canvas.

    ⌘/Ctrl+A select all · Shift-click multiple selection · ⌘/Ctrl+D duplicate · ⌘/Ctrl+Z undo · arrows move 0.5 mm · Shift+arrows move 5 mm · Enter finish drawing · Esc cancel drawing.

Artwork text and fabric are illustrative. Stitches view shows encoded needle positions. The PE-770 PES format centers the design; set final placement in machine Layout.

    Image to stitches.

Start with a logo or flat-color illustration. Choose what gets sewn, then review the editable artwork and stitches at the finished size.

    Original
    Editable artwork

Image processing stays on this device and uses no AI credits. Best for flat artwork; photo stitching and editable-text recovery are not included. Prepare PES / DST after adding to create machine files.

    Import a stitch design.

Open a purchased PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3 or XXX file at its original size. Edit thread colors, move, rotate, mirror, and add lettering. Original shape outlines are not recovered.
