Your first part.
Your table.
A clear next step.
Prepare a simple plasma part in CutArc, check your setup, and take the resulting NC file into Langmuir FireControl.

A simple drawing for learning size, kerf and cut order. Illustration; no machine settings are included.
For tables using FireControl
Check the control software on your machine first. Legacy CrossFire tables using Mach3 need a different setup. CutArc prepares the program; FireControl runs it on the table.
Have your cut chart handy
Use the chart for your exact plasma cutter, consumables, material and thickness. CutArc has a FireControl post-processor; hardware validation of this walkthrough is still pending.
A small project to learn the whole flow.
Open the sample
The guide offers a 100 × 60 mm plate with a 20 mm hole. Add it to an empty drawing, then check the imported dimensions. You can also follow along with your own part.
Select Langmuir FireControl
Open Machine Controller and select the FireControl post-processor. Review the machine-specific settings. In the beta workspace, these controls are in Machine; in Classic, they are in Output.
Match the material and cutting settings
Enter your sheet size, material, thickness and cutter amperage. Check feed rate, pierce delay, heights, kerf and lead-ins against your equipment’s cut chart. Confirm the hole cuts before the outside contour.
Review and export
Check scope, units and the toolpath preview. Generate G-code, resolve preflight messages, and download the current .nc file. Changes to the job require regeneration. The geometry preview is separate from verification of the exported program.
Load the file in FireControl
Inspect the program in FireControl’s visualizer and check its size and origin against your material. Follow the manufacturer’s machine-setup and Dry Run procedure before cutting. Read Langmuir’s FireControl guide ↗
